Working closely with Drummonds, Suzy’s ambition was to create a collection that would stand the test of time and sit well within a variety of interior schemes, bridging the gap between the classic and the contemporary. The range combines artisanal craft processes with modern shapes, materials and finishes to offer the ultimate aesthetic in luxury bathroom design.

Curved corners and a stepped profile, characteristic of Art Deco, are paired with the simple, robust cabinetry that underpinned the Arts & Crafts revival in the final years of the Edwardian era. The result is a collection that feels true to the 1920s yet sits confidently within both traditional and contemporary interiors, offering generous proportions and thoughtfully designed storage. Nicola comments, “I like it when it’s hard to pinpoint the exact period of a room, and I prefer to mix elements from different eras. If an interior is not tied to a particular moment, it has a more layered story and is less likely to date.”

Drummonds was founded in 1988 by Drummon Shaw, who at the time was restoring his period house and was finding it difficult to source authentic architectural antiques.
The roots of Drummonds are deep in craft and design heritage, reaching far beyond our 30 years as makers of bathrooms.
All of Drummonds’ bespoke special finishes are unlacquered ‘live’ finishes that will tarnish and patinate after purchase.
