Regency Refurbishment

Designed by Elemental Studio & Tom Carey

A collaboration between Elemental Studio and Tom Carey Design, this highly successful Regency refurbishment in Knightsbridge retains all the engaging charm of its past while introducing a fresh contemporary style.

Carefully planned bespoke joinery provides useful concealed storage while maintaining clean harmonious lines along the walls of the bathroom. The colour scheme is an intelligent juxtaposition of Little Greene’s cool and calming Aquamarine with warm metallic elements for a rich inviting space with a soothing energy. The commission of a unique verre églomisé panel mirror elevates the room with both artistry and reflected light.

Drummonds’ Wye bathtub provides the perfect focus for this room; a traditional cast-iron bateau bath with white enamel interior is clad in hand-finished beaten copper for a modern textural centrepiece. Our timeless Coll taps perfectly reconcile the period architecture with the light, fresh mood in the room. At the basin, the brassware reflects the warm tones of the Rosso Verona marble countertop, while the bath and shower mixer are an imposing and highly practical addition to the bath.
