Next week marks the beginning of Clerkenwell Design Week. The contemporary and innovative design week will take over London from Tuesday 23^rd May until Thursday 25^th May and if you’re excited to see what this year’s festival will bring we’ve rounded up our favourites. Take a look!

Anglepoise

Taking innovative and playful designs to the next level, Anglepoise beginning in 1855 as a spring and presswork manufacturer is the perfect nod to how their work with metal has developed through the decades. This year the brand has once again partnered with Paul Smith, after their successful collaboration last year, to create a collection of lamps that play with scale and colour.

Curiousa & Curiousa

The brainchild of Esther Patterson, this British brand produces the highest quality hand blown glass lighting. With a passion for craftsmanship, they are a brand we can wholly relate to and with such exciting designs as their ‘The Cordero’ Chandelier, which uses 30 glass ‘droplets’ to create a beautifully crafted centrepiece, their exhibition at Clerkenwell Design Week will no doubt be bold and beautiful.

deVOL

Specialising in handcrafted kitchen cupboards, deVOL’s designs are modern and fun. They are returning to exhibit at CDW to showcase their ever-expanding product range and with an entire showroom and townhouse to explore there’s no chance of being bored.

Urban Gardens

With a passion for outdoor spaces and bringing them to the city’s, Urban Gardens is dedicated to taking over your rooftop with green! Now, they are bringing their innovative ideas indoors showcasing their eclectic and stylish solutions for you to bring the outdoors in.
