Redefining a Classic

Meet Our New Shower Controls

We’re delighted to unveil the latest additions to our much-loved Coll and Dalby shower collections.

At Drummonds, our designs are grounded in heritage. Born from a passion for restoring antique bathroom pieces, we’ve spent nearly thirty years perfecting the art of traditional manufacture in our own foundry. Our newest iteration of concealed shower controls continues this legacy – staying true to the elegance of original Victorian and Edwardian designs while quietly evolving them for today’s interiors.

Dalby Concealed Controls
Featuring a thermostatic valve, on/off control and two-way diverter. Available as individual components or a complete shower plate set.

Creative Director James Lentaigne comments:

“The Dalby surface-mounted shower is a continuation of the earliest nineteenth-century designs, which featured external pipework and robust valve controls adapted from nautical and manufacturing machinery. Characterful and charming, they are a piece of British interiors history and bring an eye-catching anchor to any bathroom scheme, available in our nine unique brass finishes. We wanted to retain that character while adapting it for modern bathrooms with a more subtle aesthetic. With our classic collections, we tread a considered line between remaining authentic to the original forms and evolving with new options for today’s designers.”

These new designs join a long line of considered evolutions at Drummonds, from monobloc taps to modernised WC pans—each piece brought to life by the peerless skill of our artisans, who preserve traditional casting techniques for cast iron, china and brass. The brass foundry, in particular, is a world leader in the art of lost-wax casting, producing intricate forms with exceptional precision.
