Victorian Terraced Home

Designed by Smith Brooke Architects

Designed by Smith Brooke Architects, this project saw the conversion of a collection of bedsits back into a beautiful Victorian terraced London home. The clients had a clear vision for the new space; they wanted luxury products and materials, an injection of colour, lots of storage and ample space for the whole family.

For the master bathroom, the owners wanted to create a space of sanctuary and relaxation and so opted for classic bathroomware from Drummonds. The Avon bath makes a dramatic statement upon entry, sitting directly in front of the room’s large window.

Two Single Taw vanities with Arabescato marble tops stand at either side of the freestanding bath and are accessorised with Drummonds large Round Tilt mirrors and decorative Dalby lights, helping to create symmetry in the space.

The walk in shower enclosure featuring the 300mm shower rose, hand shower bracket and Bestwood shower plate, adds a minimalist, modern touch whilst maximising the use of the space.

The cross-head Bestwood taps also have a contemporary edge, and combined with the rivetted bath and polished nickel fittings, help to give the bathroom its understated elegant feel.

The small cloakroom makes a big impact; A playful combination of pattern, texture and colour transformsthis compact cloakroom into a decorative haven. Drummonds’ classic bathroomware takes centre stage, adding to the cloakroom’s elegant feel.

Set against an exuberant background of prancing horses, the Naver china basin brings a simple charm to the space and provides a sense of balance to the blue and red colour scheme.

A Polished Nickel finish is seen throughout, from the vanity stand and Brora WC suite to the Mull Classic Bridge Mixer Tap.
