Every year Decorex showcases the best and the brightest of the design world. This year we collaborated with luxury design brand De Gouray, famed for their hand-painted wallpaper and fabric prints all over the world, to create a 1920’s inspried powder room.
Drummonds’ finest fittings exuded elegance and grandeur, framed by De Gournay’s latest hand painted wallpaper design ‘Rateau’. The design was inspired by a dramatic black and gold screen of Armand Rateau’s, which was created for fashion designer Jeanne Lanvin for her Parisian apartment on Rue Barbet de Jouy. The design also draws from a relief finely carved into marble, made for the Duchess of Alba’s private bathroom in Palacio de Liria in Madrid.
