Showroom News | Drummonds in Moscow
Visiting Moscow is always a fascinating experience. The sheer size of the town (about 30KM in diameter) alongside our 45-minute train trip from the Airport on the outskirts just to reach the tube… overwhelms. I believe there are 11million people living in the city and the size of each building is stunning. There are no small alleyways and side streets like London, but massive roads sometimes 12 car widths really impress. We were here to present our range and meet some new retailers…..
The Trains were very impressive, traditional looking, but modern inside. However, reading the tube map proved interesting… quite often we set off in one direction but ended going in reverse!
The width of the roads was very strange, as if motorways were planted throughout the city…
It was great to visit IDA, where we presented to some top designers in their showroom. They have a great display of our range and seemed to share our enthusiasm for bathrooms!
IDA’s showroom also has products for every room in the house, a one-stop shop really of total luxury.
A bit of sight seeing at the end was welcome, The Kremlin and St Basil”s Cathedral the best choice for us, and as imposing as ever.
