Grade II-Listed Georgian Rectory | Yorkshire

by Tor Interiors

Following a complete refurbishment of the property, the owner of this Grade II listed Georgian rectory specified Drummonds classic bathroomware for this large, light-filled bathroom.

The Spey cast iron bath forms the centrepiece of the room and is perfectly accompanied by Drummonds’ magnificent double Lowther vanity.

London based interior designers, Tor Interiors – tasked with updating the interior of the bathroom – chose Skimming Stone paint by Farrow & Ball in order to refresh and update the room; adding a warmer, fresher feel.

Accessories, such as the bespoke mirrors from Westgate Fine Art and nickel wall lights from Jim Lawrence, were chosen to compliment Drummonds’ Mull Classic basin taps – also in a nickel finish.

In large bathrooms such as this, Tor likes to introduce upholstery to soften the look of the hard surfaces. This juxtopisition, of soft furnishing and a warm, neutral colour scheme against Drummonds traditional bathroomware helps create a refined, elegant space with a luxurious feel.
