Grade II* Listed Property | London

by Anna Hewitson

The brief for designer Anna Hewitson was to create a cool, contemporary space, reflective of its edgy location and the owners’ love of music and entertaining.

With a strong focus on natural materials and a clever layering of textures and patterns throughout, the overall feel is that of a stylish, urban home with family life at its heart.

The choice of a bold, quirky aesthetic is brilliantly showcased in all three bathrooms of the property.

Occupying the second floor, the main bathroom features Drummonds’ Tay bath handfinished in a muted grey paint. The double vanity units are enhanced with chrome Coll 3-hole basin mixers with china handles and rectangular tilt mirrors directly above the units. The muted palette of the freestanding bath is echoed in the cabinetry, whilst the framed moss wall art adds a funky and unusual touch to the space.

Very much on-trend with its large glass shower enclosure and white and grey veined marble subway tiles, the main shower room features Drummonds’ Chrome Dalby Surface Mounted Shower with a Hand Shower & Diverter. This mix of contemporary and classic makes for a truly spectacular bathroom design.

The second shower room has a similar set up; white porcelain subway wall tiles are contrasted with vintage inspired pattered cerulean tiles and Drummonds’ classic Syre basin with a hand-crafted wooden cabinet and chrome Coll lever taps.

The single Lowther vanity basin with Arabescato marble takes centre stage in the groundfloor cloakroom, sitting perfectly against  oak flooring and the high level classic WC suite.
