Drummonds at Decorex 2018

We had the pleasure of coming back and exhibiting at Decorex this year. We immensely enjoyed sharing the brands’ universe and our latest products with all the attendees. We also loved discovering other brands’ brilliant work and witnessing people’s passion and love of interior design.

If you came to see us, thank you! We hope you enjoyed the show. If you missed it this year, we hope our round up gives you a good taste of what we had to offer.

This year, our stand was styled by the very talented Olivia Gregory. There wasn’t one specific source of inspiration but the aim was to create a beautiful and relaxing space. The chromatic palette is composed essentially of dusty pink and minty green, nodding to this year’s colour trends. These natural hues, added to the presence of  plants and vintage floor tiles, contribute in creating a peaceful mood. Drummonds’ aim was to create a space to inspire people and where one can drift off in delightful reverie.

Not only was Decorex the opportunity to share our brand’s attachment to bold interiors and to the use of colours but it was the chance for us to give to trade and private customers an exclusive preview of our new products: The Double Chessleton Vanity Basin suite, The Medway Shower and The Bestwood collection.

The Double Chessleton Vanity Basin suite brings contemporary edge to a traditional concept. Available with or without a single or double brass shelf, this piece was presented with our new Verde Guatemala, a beautiful dark blue-green, standing out beautifully against a pink overall background.

A dramatic presence on our stand, The Medway shower, based on our freestanding showers’ structures and translated into a four-sided enclosure with its shower tray flush to the floor. Its antique brushed brass finish matched supremely with the brushed effect of the painted walls.

Other highlights included The Bestwood Tap and Shower Collection, designed in collaboration with Martin Brudnizki, is defined by contemporary lines inspired by machinery controls and industrial joinery.

We also brought an original touch to one of our bateau baths : the Avon bath, which has the same shape as our Humber bath tub, is embellished with studs along its elegantly proportioned skirt.

One of the stand’s purpose was also to show how our products constantly evolve to adapt to the reality of smaller places, especially in London. We decided to put forward The Bourne Vanity Basin Wall Mounted and the new The Single Locky Vanity Basin Suite, compact vanity suites perfectly scaled to bring luxury to cloakrooms and smaller bathrooms. The Tweed Small Cast Iron Skirted Bath Tub, our smallest skirted bath tub, accompanied them perfectly.

Stay tuned to learn more about our new products, soon live on our website and available to order!
